Marketing Project Manager – Executive Summary

After a successful year of growth in 2020, where we have invested heavily in our marketing division, we are now looking to appoint a Marketing Project Manager to work as part of our busy marketing division. As a Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible for taking full ownership of a number of key marketing projects and driving these to achieve the wider marketing objectives, ultimately driving brand awareness, lead generation and income growth.

You will work closely with our marketing team to create and plan marketing campaigns, delegating tasks to project team members and ensuring marketing projects are completed on time and within budget, across our recruitment, business consultancy and digital platforms.

To be successful as a Marketing Project Manager, you should have strong leadership and strategic planning skills. Ultimately, a top-notch Marketing Project Manager should have excellent project management, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Marketing Project Manager – Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working with the Head of Sales & Marketing to implement the strategic marketing plan and mapping out the tasks needed to implement that strategy
  • Taking full ownership of a number of key marketing projects, taking these from ideas through to fully functioning campaigns to achieve the wider marketing objectives of brand awareness, lead generation and income growth
  • Manage a range of in-house or external resources to create high quality campaigns reach the target audience and create a flow of leads into the sales arm of the business
  • Working with clients and internal stakeholders to build effective marketing campaigns to support the growth of clients businesses
  • Creating and managing a content calendar and scheduling deadlines
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products and goals and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns
  • Managing and supervising marketing projects from beginning to end
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with external vendors
  • Working closely with experienced Consultants to ensure that the leads are of sufficient quality and converted, taking personal responsibility for the process through to the conclusion
  • Research and identify new marketing opportunities
  • Foster a collaborative working environment in order to maximise income across the business
  • Ability to develop strong, effective relationships with current and potential clients
  • A keen attention to detail and the ability to follow a process through to conclusion
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in project management and/or marketing
